Our customer is US based Healthcare services provider, who wants to perform sophisticated analytics and reporting on large-scale data. With the existing legacy infrastructure, it is difficult to manage and update the data pipelines. The infrastructure is fragmented, and insights were non-dependable. As the regulatory requirement changes system metamorphosis is impossible due to rigid systems. The focus is to reduce the cost, just-in-time and make modifications to existing pipelines at ease.
Business Solution
DataTheta helped in creating Integrate Data Management using Azure Data Factory and Data Flows on Azure cloud. This entire process of data warehouse modernization from the legacy system to the modern data stack was partially “lift and shift”. The regulatory system (USFDA) is mandated to capture the change log to maintain the integrity of the data. The proposed solution addresses computationally intensive workloads analytics, reporting, and governance. The client has benefitted from the solution in multiple ways such as reduced costs, increased flexibility, and scalability.
Implementation
Datatheta created workflows on Azure Data Factory that integrates and transforms data from multiple sources for reporting. Azure Data Factory is a cloud service that orchestrates, manages, and monitors the integration and transformation of structured and unstructured data from on-premises and cloud sources at scale. The client was able to keep up with evolving analytics requirements that provide important insights into customer data. With Azure Data Factory, data orchestration is seamless and easy, and automation of data pipelines and reports enables our clients to focus on how they can better serve customers.
Mapping Data flows, available in Azure Data Factory and Synapse pipelines help us to transform the data without writing code.
